How Good Are The Sokon Electric Mini Trucks? In 2008 Best Used Tractors chose to link with our new mini truck distributor because we could tell they had integrity, and because we knew that they had been visiting China for years in the effort to find and/or create the best possible new mini trucks. They had started initially developing gas powered mini trucks. Since we knew they were spending months on end in China we asked them in 2008 also to see if they could find superior electric mini trucks and/or to find some good one and make it great. We asked them to find better quality electric mini trucks because we investigated five major electric mini truck importers, and we found that although they were mostly OK, we kept hearing about too many flaws in each one of them.

We wanted electric mini trucks we could be proud to sell. Our distributor friends found a manufacturer in China that was making the best gas powered mini trucks, but who also only recently started building terrific electric mini trucks. How convenient. When the gas powered mini trucks went through testing in the US for EPA approval the testing company told them of all the Chinese mini trucks they had ever tested this one was by far the best. The Sokon electric mini trucks share the same body as the Sokon gas powered units, and they share the same attention to detail and overall quality. That is why those experienced with the other electric units in the US also said the Sokon electric units were superior too. Our distributor would not have settled for less. Their philosophy was and is, “to have a quality product or none at all.” They achieved their goal. The first electric model available is a 2WD 144 volt 4 door quad body.
